This month marks 18 years since Savings4Members was founded—a journey powered by one mission: helping independent businesses thrive by cutting costs and unlocking growth opportunities. What began as a simple idea has grown into a nationwide network supporting thousands of businesses every day.
The Early Days
In 2007, CCA Global launched BizUnite, an independent business platform designed to help cooperatives and independent businesses compete with larger corporations. While our programs and savings tools were originally only available to CCA divisions, BizUnite made them accessible to outside partner organizations for the first time. From the start, our goal was clear: bring businesses together, provide national savings programs, and create tools that help them save, compete, and grow.

2007
CCA Global launches BizUnite, an independent business platform designed to help cooperatives and independent businesses compete with larger corporations.
2009
BizUnite forms some of its biggest and longest-standing partnerships, expanding beyond cooperatives to include trade associations, buying groups, and franchises. This broadens its reach and helps even more independent businesses access savings programs.
2010
BizUnite achieves a major milestone—saving members a cumulative total of $1 million.
2011
BizUnite partners with WEX, a leading provider of fuel and fleet solutions. This milestone helps the company achieve national recognition, expanding its ability to deliver savings on essential services to businesses across the country.

2015
Savings4Members surpasses 100 partner organizations, delivering our savings to thousands of members across the U.S. and Canada and expanding our reach throughout North America.
2017
BizUnite officially rebrands to Savings4Members, reflecting its mission more clearly: providing organizations and independent retailers with significant savings on the products and services they rely on every day.

2020
The COVID-19 pandemic pushes businesses everywhere into uncharted territory. Like so many, the S4M team shifted to working from home—but our mission never paused. Through the uncertainty, we continued to support independent businesses by finding ways to reduce costs and ease financial strain during one of the toughest times in recent history.
2022
Savings4Members celebrates its 15-year anniversary with a company-wide party and dedicates the entire year to S4M Gives Back, our volunteer program. We wanted to give back to the community that helped us achieve this milestone, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the people and places that make independent business success possible.

2024
We proudly joined the We Supply America tour, hosted by Dirk Beveridge, highlighting purpose-driven visionaries in distribution. It was a great opportunity to share the Savings4Members story, culture, and mission with distributors and independent businesses across the country.

2025
This year, we celebrate 18 years of empowering independent businesses. In 2025, we’re rolling out new programs, expanding our vendor partnerships, and finding more ways to help businesses save and grow—building on nearly two decades of impact.
Looking Ahead
Turning 18 isn’t just a milestone—it’s a reminder that our story is still being written. The challenges facing businesses today are bigger than ever, but so are the opportunities. As we look toward the future, S4M will continue to innovate, expand, and fight for the independent businesses that keep our communities strong.
